Join Shadhika at the Posner Center for Development, Denver this April for a springtime festival and fundraiser to support girls’ education in India featuring Holi, music, a craft bazaar, food, drink, and more!
Buy your tickets now! All funds raised will go towards Shadhika’s gender justice programming and girls’ education in India. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $7 for youth (free tickets for kids 5 and under).

This art exhibition featuring 25 works by Shadhika Scholars takes you through the incredible power that community work and self reflection have in catalyzing gender justice for these young community leaders. Commemorate Women’s History Month and the International Women’s Day by exploring this exhibition from March 1 to March 8 2024 or joining us on March 8 anytime between 5 pm and 7 pm MST for a virtual gallery walk alongside a community of feminist advocates.

Leaders For Change Summit 2023 will be hosted in Lucknow and Vadodara over June and July of 2023, bringing together Shadhika Scholars and Alum, partner organizations, gender allies!
The annual Leaders for Change Summit is a space for young women and participants to learn, support each other, and forge friendships. The Summit brings together young women and participants from diverse backgrounds, providing a safe and inclusive environment to express themselves freely and to be curious. Over the course of three days, these young women will learn skills to design and develop projects to advance girls’ rights in their communities.

This year, Shadhika is projected to support 80 new Shadhika Scholars from 4 different grassroots partner organizations in India. Through this Scholarship, young women from some of the most underserved communities of India will receive support through their college education, English tutoring, and a comprehensive technology package.
“If I am able to complete my nursing diploma, that is because of Shadhika, because without financial support, it wouldn’t be possible,” says Tajdina Khatun, a Shadhika Alum.
