Welcome to Shadhika’s 2022 – 2023 Annual Report. While major development indicators have fallen in India, including food security, gender equality, employment, and learning levels, we know that women and girls will suffer the brunt of it. Yet, Shadhika Scholars are undeterred, simultaneously succeeding in their studies and leading change in their communities. In parallel, Shadhika partners are demonstrating thoughtful adaptive leadership. To meet emerging needs in their communities post-pandemic, they are embracing digital technology for increased outreach and are doubling down on the health of families to keep girls in school.
