‘Girls on the Run’ Pools School Supplies for Shadhika

Reading Time: < 1 minutesIn May, the Bradford Intermediate School Chapter of “Girls on the Run of the Rockies” (GOTR) in Littleton, CO invited Shadhika to talk about what life is like for a girl in India. GOTR is an after-school program is for girls in the 3rd to 5th grades that promotes a healthy lifestyle and “inspires girls to define their lives on their own terms.” As part of the program, the girls take on a community project. They are putting together school supplies for some of the girls in India that Shadhika supports. Shadhika’s President will deliver them when she goes this summer.
